What is the furniture made from?
All of our garden furniture is made from sustainable native green oak. Green Oak is an exceptionally durable timber which needs no chemical treatments or preservatives making it maintenance free, therefore, it is ideal for eco friendly garden furniture, where it will naturally season and age gracefully to a beautiful silver colour.
Alternatively we offer the stylish charred oak finish, which provides a bold contemporary statement for any environment. It is colour fast and remains black.
How is the furniture made?
Your furniture will be hand-made in our Shropshire workshop we select the very best green oak for the job and construct the furniture using traditional pegged mortice and tennon joints throughout for strength and durability
When completed the green oak garden benches should last in excess of 50 years, making them considerably cheaper in the long run than mass produced home assemble softwood, or imported tropical hardwood alternatives.
